Key Messages

The project’s original key messages reflect the principles endorsed by stakeholders at regional workshops in early 2008:

Key message 1

The QAIHC Business Quality Centre model will include ‘back office’ functions of human resources (HR), finance, information technology (IT) and purchasing.

The model is designed to create efficiencies and possible cost savings to give members more capacity to focus on primary health service delivery.

The model is deigned to enable members to keep control of their decision-making in the above areas.

The model is designed to improve members’ access to specialist skills and resources.
